The story of
Kendra Slone
Kendra Slone has been writing since she was a little girl. Her biggest dream was to become an author, though she never thought it would happen to her. When she learned about self-publishing, Kendra jumped at the chance to publish her own book and got to work. In 2018, she made a Facebook page for herself with a promise to hold herself accountable by sharing her journey with others. And the rest it history!
She published her first book The Hailwic Chronicles: The Shifter in October of 2020. It was one of her proudest moments to be able to call herself an author and to share her story with others. Her next book The Hailwic Chronicles: The Forgotten Prince didn’t some out until June 2024. Currently, her main genre that she writes in is YA Fantasy. However, she’d love to write a horror or thriller story after The Hailwic Chronicles is completed.
In her free time, Kendra enjoys her hobbies including reading, painting minifigures, playing video games, watching her favorite shows and movies, and spending time with her family. Kendra lives in a small town in Illinois with her husband, two dogs, and two cats.
