June 2026 Wrap Up!
Hello everyone!
It’s been a while since I made a post so I thought I would take the time to do just that. This month has been a busy one! I made my own shirt in Canva to display my name and books while out in public. On June 7th, I took my books to the Quad Con Comic and Toy show in Springfield, IL. It was an awesome event! I was able to sell a few books and check out all the things that make my nerdy heart happy.
While at the Quad Con, I had the chance to meet Dale Kelly, the voice actor of Captain Ginyu and the narrator of Dragon Ball Z. He did the voice for me and I was able to get a picture of him with a signed picture of the Ginyu Force. He was a really nice guy!
I got the picture for my cousin who got me into Dragon Ball Z in the first place, but I’ve been slacking and haven’t given it to him yet. I need to do that soon!!
We also took a moment to celebrate my sister’s birthday this month. She would have been 28 this year. I have to admit I’ve been struggling with being motivated to write any stories. I really am trying my best, but sometimes life gets in the way. Also, I feel like I’ve lost my spark over the last year. But I’m working on it.
My sister was a big supporter of my writing journey. She knew a lot about the story of Hailwic before anyone else. I’m now thinking of writing a thriller for my next project after The Hailwic Chronicles and I know she would have loved it. She was into thriller and horror stories too. Forgive me for taking so long, I think I’m just trying to find my spark again and what gave me purpose to writing in the first place.
June Highlights

- Finished writing a chapter in Book 3
- Officially made a Youtube channel to hold my shorts and the occasional video
- Continuing to write Book 3
July Goals
- Write 2 chapters in book 3
- Outline Thriller book if I get time
- Prepare for 2 events in August
- Create more tiktoks and shorts to get my name and books out there
- Create a video or two on my Youtube channel
- Connect more with local authors
- Keep posting on social media
